Grief Counseling Hamburg

Image

In its core grief work is a work of love and relationship which leaves behind a simplified understanding of letting go the deceased.

Roland Kachler

Your grief is an immense hurt about the loss of a loved one - be it through death or an unwanted separation. Behind this grief and hurt is the love and the yearning for the person who has left you.

The necessary changes that follow the death or separation are always forced upon you by these events. Normal grief is no illness. However, when with complicated or traumatic grief a psychotherapy might be the right step. This can be the case when the death occured through suicide or as part of a natural or man-made castastrophe. In addition, complicated grief may be the consequence when the relatiionship was very ambivalent.
